Presence
Soderbergh tests his creative boundaries in this clever ghostly tale captured wholly from the viewpoint of a ghost. When a household featuring mother Rebekah plus Callina Liang as Chloe occupies their fresh home, the filming device – AKA the Presence – shadows their actions. The premise is enjoyable that doesn't outstay its welcome, including a revelation that could catch you off guard. October 11th, 4.35pm, 10.10pm, the Sky channel

This Dramatic Portrait
In the battle between spirituality and money, it's a knockout win for materialism in Michael Showalter's brilliantly over-the-top true story about the fallen religious broadcaster and her felon spouse. Garfield acts as the greedy Jim, who proclaims at the beginning, claiming divine approval for wealth. Both individuals begin profiting from the people's Christian beliefs. It's a spectacle of bad interior design, overdone appearance and insincerity, though Jessica Chastain achieves to present Tammy Faye as a sympathetic figure. Next Tuesday, 1.15am, Film4
